Commercial detailing, service, and repair too....

I just found a '87 GMC diesel Step Van for Tonia, the owner of Cascade Kiteboarding. It's 28' long and 8' wide. Matt and I cleaned it out and it's ready for business!

Giving a Subaru back to the community

Doug Miley is one of my customers. When Doug read the story in the White Salmon Enterprise about a single mom who's car was stolen, Doug went into action. He was determined to help the woman find a car.

Tony contacted me to see what I could do. I just happen to come across a few cars every day. I sometimes buy cars from customers who want to upgrade, then I fix them up and use them as loaner cars. So when you drop your car off for fixing, I can give you a loaner car to drive!

Anyways, Doug inquired and I wanted to help. So, I ended up fixing up one of my Subarus and donating it to Kim, the woman who's car was stolen. I'm so glad that I could help someone else in this community as this community has really helped me!

Thanks to all who helped out with this little fund raiser. It's nice to see the community come together even in these hard times. Big thanks to the Suby Man for donating the work and the bulk of the car costs. We would not have been able to do this with his help! We were able to get Kim in an older but dependable Subaru. We didn't quite get all the costs covered but in all worked out! There were even some anonymous donations, I don't know who you are but THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Kim wanted me to pass on to everyone that she is really appreciative for all the help and she was actually pleasantly suprised that we were able to get this done especially with the economy, people not knowing the circumstances, person,etc.

Fall brings Subarus for Winter

Wow things have been so busy and I've been awful about posting here. So here's the scoop: The Suby Man moved into a new building at 575 Jewett in downtown White Salmon. Yup, we're right on the corner of Dock Grade and the big hill up to White Salmon. You can't miss the big yellow building! That's us!

Don't hesitate to stop by and say hello. We usually have some good chocolate for the kids (or yourself) and treats for the dogs. Maggie (my mutt) will greet you with an aggressively wagging tail and big eyes. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get her to hand customers a Suby Man drop-off clipboard and pen. Working on that.

Don't forget that the holiday season is here. Why not buy your husband or wife an Subaru Detail Gift Certificate! Her engine could look this hot! You could lick any part on this engine it's so clean!

The sunny weather is back and your car is... dirty

It's about time the rain stopped. It was like a flashback to December except that... it's May! Let's hope we don't have a repeat of last year. Nonetheless, it's good for the grass and the plants but... not for keeping your car looking nice.

Now that the weather is back to normal, with the sun shining, we have a reason to go for a nice drive... and detail the car! Don't know if you've ever had your car detailed, but it's pretty nice. I pride myself in my car details. I like a spotless machine, and that is what I hope to return to you after your detail. Be sure to check out the engine as it should shine just as much as the rest of the car! Reduce | Reuse | Recycle...Rescue a Subaru!

Just like people, good old cars eventually pass. But their organs can bring life to another. Especially with Subarus! Subarus are such great reliable cars that their organs can be reused to help other cars that really need them.

Recently, I came across a Subaru that had sadly been treated very poorly by its owner. Battered and beaten, the little white '97 Outback had nothing left to give... except 4 beautiful tires and a spotless interior. I ended up purchasing the little guy to possibly use to recycle parts, but realized that it did have some life left in the engine. Lots of under-the-hood time brought this Outback back to life for another 50,000 miles!

I like rescuing cars that people want to dump. Bringing them back to life extends life for the car, keeping it out of the dump or a junk yard. And if the owner is willing to give it a second chance, it usually saves the owner lots of money on a new car. Sometimes all these cars need is a little love.
